Exhaust Pipes
The Problem
Severe corrosion caused by hot exhaust gas and salt water, led to critical loss of steel.
The Solution
This repair was completed in 2 days . Rebuilt with Belzona® 1511 and coated with Belzona® 1391.

Floating Hoses
The Problem
The rubber reinforced covers and flotation/insulation on fuel hoses was damaged. Thought to be caused by the ships propeller during fuel loading and unloading.
The Solution
The application was completed witn Belzona 2211 at a fraction of the cost of a replacement hose. The customer wanted to use Belzona because previous applications had surpassed life expectancy expectations.

Anti Cavitation Systems
The Problem
Due to the shape of the rudders, coupled with disturbed water flowing from the propeller, and the high manouevrability of the vessel, cavitation damage occurs leading to severe erosion corrosion pitting.
The Solution
Rebuilding of the pitted areas was carried out using Belzona 1311. Belzona 1341 was used as the first coat to provide optimum adhesion and corrosion resistance. The Belzona 2141 system was applied as the top coating to provide cavitation resistance.
